How to compress PDF to 100 KB

  1. Add your PDF — up to 20 at a time.
  2. The target is already 100 KB; change it in the options if your form allows a different size.
  3. Click Compress and download — the result shows the new size.

How the 100 KB target is reached

The PDF is compressed with up to six progressively stronger settings — from high-quality images up to 2,600 pixels on their longest side, down to 800 pixels with strong JPEG compression — and the first result under 100 KB is kept, so images lose no more detail than they must. Text and vector graphics are never re-encoded, so even at the strongest setting the words stay sharp; only photos and scans get softer.

What if my PDF can't get under 100 KB?

You get the smallest version that keeps text readable, with a note that it didn't reach 100 KB. Splitting the PDF or removing pages you don't need usually closes the gap.

Which PDFs can reach 100 KB?

Text documents and a few scanned pages usually can. Long scans and photo-heavy PDFs often can't get this small without becoming hard to read — split them first.

Can I choose a different size?

Yes — type any number in Target size (in KB, e.g. 1024 for 1 MB). Leave it at 0 to use a compression level instead.

Are my files safe?

Yes. Your files are only used to create your result — they’re never shared and never used to train AI.
