How to convert WebP to JPG

  1. Add your WebP images — up to 100 at a time.
  2. Keep the default quality, or adjust it for a smaller or sharper JPG.
  3. Click Convert and download your JPG files (a ZIP when there are several).

What is WebP?

WebP is a modern web format from Google with lossy and lossless modes, transparency and animation. It is usually noticeably smaller than JPG at similar quality and every current browser opens it, though some older apps and editors still don't.

What is JPG?

JPG (JPEG) is the most widely supported photo format. Its lossy compression is tuned for photographs, so files are small and open everywhere — but it can't store transparency, and every re-save loses a little detail.

What changes when you convert WebP to JPG

Both formats are lossy, so the picture or sound is re-encoded once more; at the default quality the difference is hard to notice. JPG can't store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with a colour you choose (white by default). Expect a larger file than the WebP in most cases.

Does converting WebP to JPG reduce quality?

Slightly: both are lossy, so the WebP is re-encoded. At the default setting most people can't see or hear a difference; raise the quality setting if you need more headroom.

Will the JPG be smaller than the WebP?

Usually not. JPG trades size for compatibility, so expect a larger file. The result screen shows both sizes.

Can I convert several WebP files at once?

Yes — up to 100 files of 100 MB each in one go. Several results download together as a ZIP.

Are my images safe?

Yes. Your images are only used to create your result — they’re never shared and never used to train AI.
