How to convert AVIF to JPG

  1. Add your AVIF images — up to 100 at a time.
  2. Keep the default quality, or adjust it for a smaller or sharper JPG.
  3. Click Convert and download your JPG files (a ZIP when there are several).

What is AVIF?

AVIF is based on the AV1 video codec. It is often the smallest of the common image formats at a similar quality and supports transparency, but encoding is slower and many desktop apps can't open it yet.

What is JPG?

JPG (JPEG) is the most widely supported photo format. Its lossy compression is tuned for photographs, so files are small and open everywhere — but it can't store transparency, and every re-save loses a little detail.

What changes when you convert AVIF to JPG

Both formats are lossy, so the picture or sound is re-encoded once more; at the default quality the difference is hard to notice. JPG can't store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with a colour you choose (white by default). Expect a larger file than the AVIF in most cases.

Does converting AVIF to JPG reduce quality?

Slightly: both are lossy, so the AVIF is re-encoded. At the default setting most people can't see or hear a difference; raise the quality setting if you need more headroom.

Will the JPG be smaller than the AVIF?

Usually not. JPG trades size for compatibility, so expect a larger file. The result screen shows both sizes.

Can I convert several AVIF files at once?

Yes — up to 100 files of 100 MB each in one go. Several results download together as a ZIP.

Are my images safe?

Yes. Your images are only used to create your result — they’re never shared and never used to train AI.
