How to generate a favicon

  1. Add a square logo or image (at least 512 × 512 px looks best).
  2. Nothing to set: non-square images are centred and cropped to a square.
  3. Click Create and download the icon set as a ZIP.

Which files do I get?

favicon.ico with 16, 32 and 48 px sizes inside, apple-touch-icon.png (180 px) and icon-192.png / icon-512.png for web app manifests.

How do I add them to my site?

Put favicon.ico in your site's root folder — browsers find it automatically. Link the apple-touch-icon in your page head and list the 192/512 PNGs in your web manifest.
