Which audio formats are supported?
You can open MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG and FLAC files — and the sound in MP4, MOV and WebM videos — and save as MP3, M4A, WAV or OGG.
Can I get the audio out of a video?
Yes. Video to MP3 saves the sound track of a video as MP3, M4A or WAV, and MP4 to MP3 is set up for MP4 files.
Will converting to MP3 lower the quality?
MP3 is lossy, so a little detail is traded for a much smaller file. At 192 kbps or higher most people can't hear a difference; WAV keeps everything but is far larger.
