Image quality in the PDF
JPG and PNG images are placed into the PDF exactly as they are — nothing is re-compressed, so the PDF keeps their full quality. Other formats (HEIC, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and TIFF) are first converted to a high-quality JPG on your device. Because photos keep their full resolution, a PDF of many phone photos can be large; Compress PDF shrinks it afterwards for email or upload forms.
Page size, orientation and margins
A4 and US Letter give every page the same paper size, which is what most printers and document portals expect; 'Same as image' makes each page exactly the size of its picture. With automatic orientation, wide images go on landscape pages and tall ones on portrait pages. Each image is scaled to fit inside the margin and centred — never cropped or stretched.
Are my files safe?
Yes. Your files are only used to create your result — they’re never shared and never used to train AI.
Is there a watermark?
Never.
Do iPhone photos work?
Yes — HEIC photos are converted automatically.
How many images can I put in one PDF?
Up to 200 images of 100 MB each. Every image becomes one page, in the order shown in the list.
Will my photos be the right way up?
Yes. Phone photos that are stored sideways with a rotation tag are turned upright before they go into the PDF.
Can I get one PDF per image instead?
This tool always makes a single PDF. To get separate files, split the result with Split PDF and choose 'Every page into its own file'.
