Are my files safe?
Yes. Your files are only used to create your result — they’re never shared and never used to train AI.
Do the images lose quality?
No. Photos stored as JPEG inside the PDF are saved exactly as they are, byte for byte. Other images are saved as lossless PNG.
How is this different from PDF to JPG?
PDF to JPG takes a picture of each whole page. This tool gives you the individual images embedded in the pages, at their original size.
Why are some images missing?
Tiny icons (under 64 px) and images stored in print colours (CMYK) or limited palettes are skipped. Text and vector drawings aren't images, so they aren't extracted.
