How to edit or remove PDF metadata

  1. Add your PDF — up to 20 at a time.
  2. Fill in the fields to change (empty ones stay as they are), or choose Remove all metadata.
  3. Click Update — the result shows the PDF's information.

What does Remove all metadata delete?

The document information (title, author, subject, keywords, creating app, dates) and the embedded XMP metadata. Page content isn't touched.

Why set a title?

Browsers show it in the tab when the PDF is opened, and search engines may use it — a clear title beats a file name like scan_0042.
