Why PNG for documents, slides and diagrams
JPG compression works in small blocks and smudges hard edges, which shows up as faint grey speckles around letters, table borders and chart lines. PNG stores each pixel exactly, so rendered pages stay clean however far you zoom — the better choice for pages you'll put into documentation, presentations, design tools or an editor, or crop and reuse later.
When is PNG better than JPG for PDF pages?
PNG is lossless, so text, charts and line drawings stay crisp with no compression artefacts. JPG is smaller and fine for photos and scans.
Why are the PNG files larger than JPGs?
Lossless images keep every pixel. Pages full of photos or scans can be several times bigger as PNG; pages that are mostly text stay fairly small.
Do I get one image per page?
Yes — each page becomes its own PNG, numbered by page. Several pages download together as a ZIP.
Are my files safe?
Yes. Your files are only used to create your result — they’re never shared and never used to train AI.
