How to compress images without losing quality
- Add your images — up to 100 at a time.
- Lossless is already selected; nothing else to set.
- Click Compress — the result shows how much each file saved.
When lossless is the right choice
Pick lossless for images you'll edit or export again later, for screenshots and graphics with small text, for artwork and product shots where nothing may change, and for photos you want to share without their camera details. A JPG's pixel data isn't decoded at all — only the hidden blocks around it are dropped, including EXIF details such as GPS location — so there is no generation loss no matter how many times you run it. JPGs whose rotation depends on an EXIF tag are the exception: they are re-packed as PNG to keep them upright.
How can it be smaller without losing quality?
JPGs lose their hidden metadata (camera details, thumbnails), while PNG and WebP are re-packed with a stronger lossless compressor. The picture itself is pixel-for-pixel identical.
Why are the savings small?
Lossless savings are usually 5–30%. For much smaller files, the Quality level mode gives big reductions with differences most people can't see.
Are my images safe?
Yes. Your images are only used to create your result — they’re never shared and never used to train AI.
