How to compress an image to 200 KB

  1. Add your photos — up to 100 at a time.
  2. The maximum size is already 200 KB; change it in the options if your form asks for something else.
  3. Click Compress and download — the result screen shows each new size.
How do you get an image under 200 KB?

Quality is lowered step by step first. If even a low quality is still over 200 KB, the image is scaled down step by step until it fits — large photos in bigger steps. PNGs are lossless, so they are only scaled down.

Will my photo still look good at 200 KB?

For most photos, yes — the difference is hard to see on screen.

Does it keep the original format?

Yes, by default. Under Advanced you can switch to JPG or WebP, which reach small sizes with better quality than PNG.
