How to compress an image to 50 KB

  1. Add your photos — up to 100 at a time.
  2. The maximum size is already 50 KB; change it in the options if your form asks for something else.
  3. Click Compress and download — the result screen shows each new size.
How do you get an image under 50 KB?

Quality is lowered step by step first. If even a low quality is still over 50 KB, the image is scaled down step by step until it fits — large photos in bigger steps. PNGs are lossless, so they are only scaled down.

Will my photo still look good at 50 KB?

Usually yes on screen at modest sizes; fine detail softens a little.

Does it keep the original format?

Yes, by default. Under Advanced you can switch to JPG or WebP, which reach small sizes with better quality than PNG.
