How to resize a passport photo

  1. Add a front-facing photo with your head roughly centred.
  2. The 600×600 preset is selected; use Crop image first if your head isn't centred.
  3. Click Resize and download the square photo for your application.
Is 600×600 right for my country's application?

It's a common size for online applications (for example the US visa photo upload). Check your application's own rules for size, background and file-size limits — some also cap the file at a few hundred KB.

My photo also has to be under a file size — what now?

After resizing, use Compress image with a target size (e.g. 240 KB) to fit the limit.

Are my images safe?
