How to convert and resync subtitles

  1. Add your .srt or .vtt files.
  2. Choose the format and, if needed, how many seconds to shift.
  3. Click Convert and download.
Captions are 2 seconds late — what do I enter?

Shift timing −2. Positive numbers move captions later, negative earlier.

Captions start right but drift further off — why?

They were timed for a different frame rate. Under Advanced, enter the rate they were made for (often 25) and the video's (often 23.976) to stretch the timing.

Is anything uploaded?

No — subtitles are plain text and are converted instantly on your device.
